Some people highlight different words or verses in their bible, others write notes in the margins. I have taken to drawing right over the text. This is my own way of recording my feelings, thoughts, resonance, and responses. Perhaps some day my family can look back at this as our own personal “Illuminated Manuscript” like a modern Book of Kells.
