2013 – Found Fabric Paintings

In this series of paintings Randell Neudorf is using Found Fabric as both a collage element and a painting surface. Texture and colour have playful effect in these paintings that hint at hidden memories of a former life.

“I enjoy finding old kerchiefs, pillowcases, and table clothes and re-purposing them in my art work. There is a profound difference in painting on an object that has it’s own untold history rather then a blank primed canvas with no innate story. As I am incorportating these found bits of fabric into my art I like to imagine the life these objects had with their former owners.”Randell Neudorf
